With Christmas quickly approaching, I have been spending probably too much time browsing for gifts online. For those of you shopping for the foodie in your life, below are some links to some fun presents I’ve found.
For the hot sauce lover like me – Sriracha Salt: tinyurl.com/ljlqudz
For the intellectual – The Flavor Bible: http://tinyurl.com/o3zxhmw
For the creative one – Oil infuser: http://www.uncommongoods.com/product/herb-oil-infuser
For the hostess with the mostess – Anthropologie Apron: http://tinyurl.com/mqd8cle (obsessed with all the aprons on here!)
For the simple chef: Grilled Cheese Bags: http://www.uncommongoods.com/product/toaster-grilled-cheese-bags
For the artist/decorator: Art for the kitchen: http://society6.com/product/sweet-chili_Print#1=45 (this site has limitless unique art!)
Despite how awesome I think all of these are, I will say that the one thing I enjoy giving most is not a tangible item. For my father (who does not actually like to be classified as a ‘foodie’), my favorite thing to do is to cook a meal for him. Even if you are not very versed in the kitchen, a home cooked, well-thought out meal, is a great gift for your foodie. They will appreciate the hard work behind the meal, even if it doesn’t go as perfectly as you’d hope. Good luck in your holiday search!
