Campus food tends to get a bad reputation, but there are certain finds that I really enjoy, and other things you can do to spruce up your meal. Pictured above is the Turkey Caprese sandwich (doused with Sriracha as well), from our International Café called Passport. This might be my favorite spot on campus food-wise, as they have weekly specials that can be really great (usually one vegetarian and one meat option), as well as a large variety of different options. To list a few, they have breakfast sandwiches (my favorite being spinach, egg, mushroom, and brie on ciabatta), dumplings (I love the tofu ones), sushi, salads, paninis, and various snacks (get the house-made hummus!). I pretty much always enjoy my meals here, which is not something I can say about every place on campus. I plan on writing another post about all the different options for UR students toward the end of the semester, so check back for that!
