Chez Foushee, in the Monroe District of Richmond, is a quaint restaurant with New Orleans accents perfect for brunch. The menu features locally sourced ingredients to bring a Richmond charm to the creole dishes. A must-have to start is the house-made pimento cheese. Above is a photo of the croque madame with fries, a wonderfully prepared plate of one of my all time favorite brunch dishes. I have only visited Chez Foushee for brunch, but the restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner as well as carry-out. I would definitely recommend this spot for when your parents are in town, especially if they are staying at The Jefferson seeing as though it’s within walking distance. Chez Foushee provides a delicate atmosphere for a very pleasant dining experience.
